Description:

This is the first phase of the conditioning program for the Martial Arts Athlete (MAA). This program is designed to go along side your self defense training and prepare you for the physical demand of that training. The more physically fit you are, the more prepared you are to learn your self defense.

Phase 1 Objectives:

  • Improve joint mobility
  • Improve joint strength
  • Improve muscular strength
  • Improve cardiovascular fitness
  • Prepare the body for phase 2
  • Improved durability

Phase 1 goals:

At the end of the training program the MAA will have a stronger, leaner and more fit physique that is better prepared for the stresses that martial arts present. All base line and fitness tests should show significant improvement.
